As Ditaş Doğan Yedek Parça İmalat ve Teknik A.Ş., we commit ourselves to fulfill all our legal responsibilities towards environment related to our products and services, to comply with all the specific regulations we are subject to as required by our sector, to carry voluntarily the research and studies necessary to reduce our environmental impact and to improve continuously our environmental performance, as well as to support all the activities conducted for this purpose. Within the scope of environment policy, we focus on energy and greenhouse gas management, waste management, water management and biodiversity.

      In this context, we undertake to:

• Comply with national and international legal regulations and laws, statues and other obligations about the environment,
• Ensure management of environmental processes under our ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certificate, monitoring of performance and continuous improvement,
• Engage in activities for planning, maintaining and developing effective use of energy and natural resources based on ISO 50001 Energy Management System Standard,
• Carry out OHS policies, targets, system and practices in accordance with the articles of ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Standard,
• Carry out projects to reduce carbon emissions in activities with the climate crisis and the transition to a low-carbon economy, and increase the use of renewable energy in this direction,
• Regularly control air emissions in order to reduce environmental pollution and ensure reuse, recycling and appropriate disposal in order to carry out studies to reduce and make use of waste within the framework of the circular economy, manage waste water in such a way as not to cause a problem for public health
• Check all chemical substances used with their CAS numbers and use those covered by forbidden chemicals regulation, (EC) 1907/2006 REACH Regulation,
• Prefer and use technologies  respecting the environment,
• Make necessary effort and take action to reach the targets within the framework of the determined environmental targets,
• Work to protect biological diversity,
• Carry out activities and awareness studies to increase environmental awareness in all employees and suppliers and encourage their participation,
• Inform our suppliers, customers and other respective parties about our environment policy,
• Cooperate with our suppliers and customers to improve environmental performance,
• Share our environmental performance with our stakeholders through our website and sustainability report within the scope of Doğan Environmental Management System,
• Regularly review the environmental policy and share it transparently with our stakeholders through our website.
• The Energy and Environment Working Group of the Sustainability Committee meets regularly and reviews the Environmental Policy and environmental performance, reports to the Committee and takes decisions on issues within the scope of this policy
